Plaintiffs Seth Resnick, Paula Lerner, and Michael Grecco are freelance photographers. Defendant Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (“CCC”) is a clearinghouse through which anyone may obtain the right to copy articles from various publications with whom CCC has agreements. Plaintiffs are the registered copyright holders of certain photographic images, which appear in articles whose copyrights are managed by CCC.
