BOYD, District Judge.

The plaintiffs are residents and citizens of the city of Richmond, in the Eastern district of the state of Virginia, and the defendant, the Smokeless Fuel Company, a West Virginia corporation doing business in the said city of Richmond. On the 17th of April, 3902, a written contract was entered into between the plaintiffs, Samuel II. Cottrell & Son, and the defendant, the Smokeless Fuel Company, as follows:
