March 31, 1944, appellant was awarded' a divorce from respondent and the custody of their minor child, Stephanie, also known as Stephanie Ann. July 1, 1954, respondent petitioned for modification of the divorce decree, seeking custody of the child. The trial court, upon hearing had, modified the decree and awarded custody of the child to respondent by decree of modification entered February 25, 1955. Appellant perfected an appeal therefrom.
