Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Tioga County (Sgueglia, J.), rendered April 6, 2012, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of strangulation in the second degree, assault in the third degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.

Defendant was charged in a three-count indictment with strangulation in the second degree, assault in the third degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.
