Brandon Lavon Lewis (appellant) was convicted in a jury trial of four counts of attempted robbery, in violation of Code § 18.2-58. On appeal, he contends the trial court erred in failing to sustain his objection to “improper impeachment,” failing to give a cautionary instruction following the “improper impeachment,” and failing to grant a mistrial. Appellant also maintains the evidence was insufficient to convict him of one of the attempted robbery counts.
