The plaintiffs bring their action on a bond given in substitution for a mechanic’s lien. *508Connecticut Structures, Inc., entered into a written contract dated March 11, 1968, with Connecticut Valley Corporation, hereinafter referred to as the defendant, to erect a building on land owned by it.1 The plaintiffs, as subcontractors, furnished materials and services on this job. The court found the issues for the defendants, and the plaintiffs have appealed, assigning error in the court’s finding and conclusions.
