The petition in the cause, omitting caption, is as follows: Plaintiff alleges and states that he is a resident and citizen of the city of St. Louis, by occupation an attorney at law, and that he is also a member of the state senate of the state of Missouri, and was such member of said state senate on the twelfth and thirteenth of April, A.
