Appellant Gonzalo Artemio Lopez, an inmate, filed suit against two Texas Department of Criminal Justice (“TDCJ”) correctional officers, Lydia' Serna and Gregory Galan. After a hearing, the trial court dismissed Lopez’s claims under Chapter 14 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code (“CPRC”).
