PARKER, Judge.

In this appeal, defendant raises five assignments of error: (i) the court’s denial of the motion to suppress defendant’s confession; (ii) the court’s ruling that a knife found in the vicinity of the victim’s body was admissible in evidence; (iii) the court’s denial of defendant’s motion to dismiss at the close of the State’s evidence; (iv) the court’s refusal to instruct the jury on the offense of voluntary manslaughter; and (v) the court’s decision to give additional instructions after the jury had been deliberating for over two hours.
