In this putative shareholder class action, the plaintiffs allege that Liquidity Services, Inc. (“LSI”) publicly touted its retail division as a driver of the company’s overall growth despite internal knowledge that the retail division was troubled and suffering from deteriorating margins due to heightened competition.
