In 2014, information was leaked to the media that was subject to secrecy in connection with a statewide grand jury that was sitting in 2009 before Judge Barry Feudale (hereafter, the Feudale grand jury).1 Judge Feudale is no longer part of Pennsylvania’s active judiciary and the grand jury over which he presided has long since concluded.
