OPINION

Plaintiff, John Green, sued defendant, Steven Rogers, for two counts of defamation per se and one count of civil conspiracy. The circuit court of Du Page County dismissed plaintiffs first amended complaint pursuant to section 2 — 615 of the Code of Civil Procedure (735 ILCS 5/2 — 615 (West 2006)), and plaintiff appealed.
