The plaintiffs, Anthony, Donna and Christopher Kolegas, brought an action in the circuit court of Du Page County against the defendants, Tim and Beth Disa, two WLUP-AM radio disc-jockeys, Heftel Broadcasting Corporation, and Evergreen Media Corporation of Chicago AM. The four-count complaint sought damages for defamation, publication of an injurious falsehood, invasion of privacy, and reckless infliction of emotional distress. The defendants filed a motion to dismiss the complaint, pursuant to section 2 — 615 of the Code of Civil Procedure (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 110, par. 2 — 615).…
