The appellant, the Forest Preserve District of Cook county, filed in the superior court of that county its petition to ascertain the just compensation to be paid to the appellee, Ann E. Kean, for 116 acres of land in the village of Spring Forest. The jury fixed the compensation at $40,000 and judgment was entered on the award. Ann E. Kean appealed to this court, and the judgment was affirmed on April 21, 1921, and her petition for rehearing denied on June 9, 1921. (Forest Preserve District v. Kean, 298 Ill. 37.)
