We granted defendants' petition for review in this case to consider the single issue of whether a trial court should enter findings of fact and conclusions of law after a suppression of evidence hearing under CrR 4.5.

The facts, being undisputed, are briefly summarized.1 Defendants Agee and Chulufas were arrested for possession of LSD in Vancouver, Washington, on June 19, 1975.
