On the night of July 29,1909., between 8:30 and 9 o’clock, Kate Gaffney was riding in the rear seat on the left side of an automobile running south on College avenue, a public street in the city of Dixon, and George Schorr in the front seat on the left side of the automobile, and Michael Gaffney, her husband, was at the right of Schorr, driving the auto.
