On the 25th day of December, 1900, one Carrie S. Crabel departed this life, leaving the appellees and one Lillie McPherson her heirs-at-law. The deceased held three policies of insurance on her life, aggregating the sum of §7000, payable to her estate. One J. B. Snedeker was appointed administrator of the estate of the deceased.
