ORDER AND JUDGMENT*

MONROE G. McKAY, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiff Jerry A. Garcia appeals from a district court order affirming the Commissioner’s denial of social security disability benefits. We review the Commissioner’s decision to ensure that it is supported by substantial evidence and adheres to applicable legal standards. Chambers v. Barnhart, 389 F.3d 1139, 1142 (10th Cir.2004). As explained below, we reverse and remand for further agency proceedings.
