Tito J. Paul filed for workers’ compensation benefits with the commission for an injury to his left knee incurred during the course of his employment as a football player for Pro-Football, Inc. (Washington Redskins or Redskins). A deputy commissioner found that Paul’s injury was compensable in Virginia and entered an award of benefits pursuant to Code § 65.2-101. The Washington Redskins and Gulf Insurance Company (insurer) appealed, and the full commission affirmed.
