The respondent was convicted in the municipal court on a complaint charging him with illegal transportation of intoxicating liquors without a Federal permit, in violation of Chapter *320116, Public Laws, 1925. Upon appeal, after trial and a verdict of guilty, he seasonably filed a motion in arrest of judgment on the following grounds:
