This appeal arises from an order of the circuit court of Peoria County-confirming an arbitration award upon application by Kress Corporation (Kress) and denying a motion to dismiss such application filed by Edw. C. Levy Co. (Levy).
Kress is an Illinois corporation in the business of building and selling slag pot carriers. Levy is a Michigan corporation which agreed in 1965 to assist in the development and marketing of certain slag pot carriers to be designed by Kress.
