Mrs. Gertrude King filed a claim against the City ■of Brunswick and the County of Glynn, for compensation on ac 'Count of the accidental death of her husband, Fletcher H. King. The evidence before the director of the Industrial Board was substantially as follows: The deceased was employed as a bridge tender on the Brunswicb-Saint Simons highway. This bridge crossed the Back river, a navigable stream, and was erected with the consent of the United States Government with the understanding that provision would be made for keeping the stream navigable at the bridge by means of a draw or span in…
