Denver Harper died, leaving the bulk of his estate to his son, Russell Harper, and disinheriting another son, Travis Harper. Travis sued the estate, seeking to enforce his father’s alleged agreement to leave him a portion of the estate in exchange for services he rendered to his father during his father’s life. In the alternative, Travis sought to recover the value of his services under quantum meruit.
