In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (R. Goldberg, J.), dated October 14, 1997, which granted the defendants’ separate motions for summary judgment dismissing the complaint and all cross claims insofar as asserted against them. The appeal brings up for review so much of an order of the same court, dated April 17, 1998, as, upon reargument, adhered to the original determination (see, CPLR 5517 [b]).
