OPINION
YOUNG, Justice.
This is a suit for wrongful death which arose from two separate and distinct automobile collisions. Automobiles driven by Jimmie R. Lofton and Raymond Norman collided at night November 21, 1970, on Texas Farm Road #236 a few miles west of Victoria. The automobiles came to rest side by side, facing west and obstructing both the northbound and southbound lanes of travel of the road.
