The plaintiff in error, Peter Peterson, was defendant in the district court, where judgment went against him in favor of the defendant in error, Cora K. Bawalt, plaintiff below. The jury’s verdict was for $100; but the trial court, on motion of Mrs. Bawalt, set the verdict aside and entered judgment for the full amount claimed by her, something over $600. Peterson is here asking a reversal.
