TITUS, Judge.

Defendant Donald W. Gallimore was charged with first degree robbery (§ 569.-020)1 for having, on December 4,1980, forcibly stolen “approximately $900.00 in the possession of Randy Arrowood2, and in the course thereof defendant, or Robert D. Gal-limore, Jr.3, another participant in the crime, displayed and threatened the use of *233... a deadly weapon and dangerous instrument.” A Jasper County jury declared defendant guilty of the charged class A felony and assessed punishment at imprisonment for a term of 10 years. § 558.011-1(1).
