The White County Circuit Court awarded appellee Candy Stevens compensatory and punitive damages, costs, and a reasonable attorney’s fee against appellant, Odom Antennas, Inc. The award of compensatory damages was based on alternative theories, breach of contract and a claim for retaliation under the Arkansas Civil Rights Act of 1993; the award of punitive damages was based upon a violation of the Arkansas Civil Rights Act.
