OAKS, Justice:

A jury convicted defendant of aggravar ted robbery after two employees of a retail establishment identified him as the man who had come into their store at 2:30 p.m. on September 20,1982, and taken cash from them at gunpoint. He was sentenced to the statutory term of five years to life for the first degree felony, plus additional consecutive sentences of one year and not more than five years for the use of a firearm ,in the crime. U.C.A., 1953, § 76-3-203(1).

Both employees had ample opportunity to observe the defendant. He had come into the store five or six times in the morning…
