OPINION
STAPLETON, District Judge:
This 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action is brought by Thomas Winsett, an inmate at the Delaware Correctional Center (“D.C.C.”). Plaintiff complains that the defendant prison officials 1 have denied him classification to the work release program at D.C.C. in violation of his rights to due process of law and equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment.
