The plaintiff below, defendant in error here, recovered a judgment against the city of Guthrie for the sum of $2,250, damages sustained by her on account of the negligence of the city in that it did not keep its streets in a safe condition for travel. There is much dispute in the evidence, but the testimony of the plaintiff tends to show that she was a married woman, 41 years of age; that on the night of the 18th of April, 1892, she had attended church, and on her way home came on Noble avenue, going west to its intersection by First street, extending north…
