Myers and Sanford have appealed from an order granting a motion for summary judgment in favor of Protective. The opinion and decree of the trial court filed on March 1, 1976, succinctly summarizes the background of the appellants' claims for commissions on renewal premiums, which they claim Protective should pay, as the reinsurer of the business of Empire Life Insurance Company of America. It is, therefore, reproduced here:
