Diane Lawson (“Lawson”) and Heather Burlingame (“Burlingame”) appeal from the trial court’s summary judgment rulings in favor of Mendota Insurance Company (“Mendota”) arising out of an action for wrongful death. In the proceedings below, based on stipulated facts, the trial court found that a personal automobile insurance policy between Lawson’s deceased husband and Mendota was clear and unambiguous, that the policy was valid and enforceable, and that Mendota had no duty to defend or indemnify.
