Approximately thirty (30) days prior to August 15, 1980, the defendant Donald D. Combs and Judith Combs (Combs) met with Richard Abernathy, a licensed agent for the plaintiff, Horace Mann Insurance Company (Horace Mann), to discuss homeowner’s insurance coverage on the Combs’ home.
