On April 7, 1981, the Credit Life Insurance Company, Central Penn Insurance Company, and Sterling Life Insurance Company, initiated the present action against various Defendants, including Phil C. Meisinger (Meisinger), a California citizen, CPP Insurance Agency, Inc.
