Plaintiffs, a group of shareholders and some former directors and officers of Stotler Group, Inc. (SGI), appeal from an order of the circuit court of Lake County which dismissed their complaint under section 2 — 615 of the Code of Civil Procedure (735 ILCS 5/ 2 — 615 (West 1992)). Plaintiffs had sued Coopers & Lybrand, an accounting firm (the accountants), alleging breach of contract, negligence and fraud.
