This appeal involves a petition for writ of mandamus, sought by the Church of Natural Healing (“Church”), its President, Dr. Gary Axley, and the Southern College of Naturopathy (“the College”). An understanding of the issues involved in this case requires a discussion of the history and background of the parties involved. The appellant, Dr. Axley, as mentioned above, is the President of the Church of Natural Healing, which was incorporated in 1998.
