FOURNET, Chief Justice.
Trunkline Gas Company,' Cyprus Mines Corporation and Phelps Dodge Corporation, as owners of mineral leases affecting several contiguous tracts of land belonging to C. S. Steen Syrup Mill, Inc.,1 and described hereinbelow,2 portions of which are located in the Grosse Isle Field, Vermilion Parish, initiated this concursus proceeding to have resolved the ownership of accrued royalties claimed by two opposing groups, hereinafter referred to as Group One 3 and Group Two.4 The matter is now before us *525on a writ of certiorari granted on the application of Group Two to review…
