This action is brought to recover damages for the loss of life of the plaintiff’s intestate caused by the alleged negligence of Petrosky, a patrolman of the city of Waterbury, in driving its police patrol automobile when in the execution of the business of the police department of the city and by order of McLean, the sergeant of police.
