This is an appeal by defendant chief of the Milwaukee Police Department (the Department) from a judgment for money damages following a trial to the court without a jury. Jurisdiction is present under 28 U.S.C. § 1343(3) in this action based upon 42 U.S.C. § 1983 in which it is alleged that appellant is responsible for unconstitutional searches of the bodies of plaintiff Carolyn Salinas and four of her children.
