This is an appeal by a certificated employee of defendant North Orange County Community College District (District) from a judgment dismissing his petition for a writ of mandate following an order sustaining the District’s demurrer without leave to amend. The petition sought to compel the District to reinstate plaintiff, originally employed as a part-time temporary teacher and to accord him tenured status as a part-time teacher.
