Two complaints were filed against George L. Holliday, charging him with the crime of embezzlement, committed in *339‘■"wilfully, maliciously, and fraudulently” appropriating the amounts of two checks in favor of “Prensa Insular de Puerto Rico,” one of them for $99.00 and the other for $74.67.
