Mary Lingis, who was the executrix of her brother Edward J. Lingis’s estate, sued Attorney Burton Waisbren, Jr., claiming legal malpractice and violation of G. L. c. 93A, § 9.2 *465A jury returned a verdict for Waisbren on the malpractice claim and the judge found for Lingis on the c. 93A claim, awarding her treble damages and attorney’s fees.
