August 13, 1942, an application was filed on behelf of certain electors of Chowning school district No. 14, asking this court to assume original jurisdiction and grant a writ of certiorari for the purpose of inquiring into the jurisdiction of the county superintendent of Marshall county, on petition, and the district court of that county, on appeal, to order an .annexation of said district to Madill-school district No. 2.
