The defendant’s appeal from his convictions of murder in the first degree and armed robbery presents six independent issues. We conclude that there was no reversible error and that the defendant is not entitled to relief pursuant to G. L. c. 278, § 33E (1990 ed.).

To put the issues in perspective, we provide a brief outline of evidence that the jury reasonably could have believed.
