2Per curiam

The applicant, Edward A. Raso, appeals from the Superior Court’s denial of his application for postconviction relief, in which he sought to challenge the efficacy of the guilty plea that he had made on September 19, 1978. The applicant’s basic contention is that the trial justice who presided over his criminal trial in 1973 erred when, in the face of an oral motion to withdraw the guilty plea (which oral motion was made on the day of sentencing), she proceeded to sentence him.
