I. FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

This is an appeal arising out of this court’s order denying defendants’ post trial motions and an entry of judgment in the amount of $100,000.00 stemming from a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff. This case arose out of an accident between the plaintiff, Gregory White (hereinafter “appellee”) and the defendant, Philadelphia Police Officer Kevin Devlin, (hereinafter “appellant”).
