FLETCHER, Judge:

The appellant was tried by general court-martial on May 15 and 16, 1979. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty by a mili*185tary judge of numerous offenses.1 He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 2Vi years and total forfeitures. The convening authority approved the sentence as adjudged on August 14, 1979. The Air Force Court of Military Review affirmed the sentence on March 17, 1980. 9 M.J. 514.
