MEMORANDUM OPINION
KAPLAN, District Judge.
The plaintiff in this action, a tenured professor of rehabilitation medicine employed by New York University Medical Center (“NYUMC”), brings this action against NYU, Dr. Saul Farber, who is the dean and chairman of the Department of Medicine of the NYU School of Medicine, and other defendants. He contends that the defendants have discriminated against him on the basis of his age and/or national origin. The matter is before the Court in consequence of defendants’ resistance to plaintiffs effort to take the deposition of Dr. Farber.
