BOULDIN, Justice.
Metropolitan Life Insurance Company sued Reconstruction Finance Corporation on counts for money had and received, and for destruction of the landlord’s lien of the plaintiff in the proceeds of a cotton crop.
During 1930, 1931, and 1932, J. A. Henderson, Sr., was the owner of a farm in Covington county, upon which the plaintiff, insurance company, held a first mortgage, and Andalusia National Bank a second mortgage.
